We would like to congratulate those who are graduating from the 12 academic programs accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Athletic Training Education. We look forward to working with you as colleagues in the very near future!As you move toward professional practice, please remember your obligation to apply for licensure in the state in which you are seeking employment. Every state (California is the current exception) has regulation of some sort. You know you must be licensed in Missouri; other states have similar legislation. You must have a license to practice at every level, including as a graduate assistant or intern athletic trainer.Many of you may be facing student loan bills.
