Missouri Sports Medicine Hall of Fame
The Missouri Sports Medicine Hall of Fame honors medical professionals or other individuals who have made lifetime or long standing contributions of significant impact on the profession of athletic training and the athletic health care of student-athletes/active individuals in the state of Missouri. The leadership, dedication and service of these individuals are recognized by athletic trainers across the state of Missouri. Eligible nominees include certified athletic trainers, physicians, or other individuals who meet the criteria defined in the Special Category section.
Glenn L. McElroy, MD Outstanding Service Award
The Glenn L. McElroy, MD Outstanding Service Award is a prestigious award given to an individual who has displayed exemplary service in the profession of athletic training. The recipient of this award has provided remarkable service to the profession of athletic training and to the patients they serve.
MoATA OUTSTANDING ATHLETIC TRAINER OF THE YEAR
The MoATA Outstanding Athletic Trainer of the Year award is presented to a Missouri athletic trainer whose performance or contributions to the profession have been noticeably significant throughout the year. The award is intended to recognize a single effort or a series of actions over the course of a year that benefitted the membership of MoATA or beyond, and has positively influenced the health care provided by athletic trainers in Missouri.
