Join Us For Capitol Day!

Please make arrangements to kick off March by joining us for the annual MoATA Capitol Day on Wednesday, March 2nd. As you are well aware, March is National Athletic Training Month. This year's slogan is "providing healthcare everywhere." One way that enables ATs to expand their reach and services is having the ability to receive third party reimbursement. The MoATA has continued its legislative efforts to advance our reimbursement opportunities in the state throughout the years, with this year being no different. Please help us advance our initiatives to ensure ATs are providing healthcare everywhere in the state of Missouri.  Join us on March 2nd from Noon to 4 PM on the 3rd Floor Senate Rotunda. We highly stress and encourage our members and students to reach out to their respective Representatives and Senators to meet and discuss forthcoming bill information. Due to the variability in our legislators schedules, we encourage you to wait until February 23rd to start scheduling your meetings for the afternoon of March 2nd. Faculty and staff traveling with students, we encourage you to assist them with scheduling and speaking with their respective legislators.
