MoATA 2016

It was great to see so many of the MoATA members in Kansas City on the campus of Avila University at the 2016 MoATA Annual Meeting and Symposium. The Political Action Committee pre-conference educational fundraising event kicked-off the weekend. Symposium attendees had opportunities to discuss and practice emergency care procedures, and to review evidence regarding some of the more common interventions used in athletic health care. The weekend was highlighted by the Honors and Award Luncheon.If you missed the MoATA Social, you missed an enjoyable evening! Some of our sponsors joined us for a few hours of relaxation and story-telling. The MoATA Business meeting allowed the opportunity for the membership of MoATA to hear from and exchange ideas with the Executive Committee. Much information was disseminated about legislative acts, happenings around the state, and other important business. Special guest District V MAATA President Rob Marshall imparted with us news and updates from around the district.Please mark your calendars for June 2^nd and 3^rd, 2017 for our next annual meeting.
