MoATA Capitol Days

The Governmental Affairs Committee would like to invite you to participate in one of our 3 Capitol Visit Days in Jefferson City this upcoming legislative session.  These days give athletic trainers a chance to provide valuable information about the profession and our legislative concerns to members of the General Assembly. With newly elected legislators in office and the ongoing efforts to update our current practice act, this could be a pivotal time where your involvement could truly make a difference in our profession.The Governmental Affairs Committee have set aside the following dates:

Tuesday January 24 (Certified Members and Athletic Training Students)Wednesday February 15 (Certified Members and Athletic Training Students)Tuesday March 14 (Certified Members)

 The time commitment for these events at the Capitol are from 8:00 until noon, although individuals that can stay until 2 pm have a greater opportunity to meet personally with legislators.
