MoATA Honors & Awards Committee Report (March 2025)

1. Completed projects since June 2024:

a. We have reviewed and chose the MoATA 2025 award winners for:

i. Glenn L. McElroy, MD Outstanding Service Award

ii. Missouri Athletic Trainers' Assocation Outstanding Athletic Trainer of

the Year Award

iii. Missouri Sports Medicine Hall of Fame

2. Current projects/initiatives:

a. We are currently reviewing our application processes along with our rubrics

for determining award winners to see if any changes need to be made to these

processes.

b. Preparing for the 41st Annual 2025 MoATA Awards Banquet on Friday, June

13 th  in Saint Charles, MO.  

2. Future projects and/or announcements:

a. We are considering adding additional awards, such as:

i. Lifesaver Award

ii. Young Professional Award
