Nominations are also being accepted for all MoATA awards including: 

Missouri Sports Medicine Hall of Fame

The Missouri Sports Medicine Hall of Fame honors medical professionals who have made long standing contributions that have had a significant impact on the profession of athletic training and the health care provided by athletic trainers.  The leadership, dedication, and service of these individuals is recognized by athletic trainers across the state of Missouri.  The Hall of Fame is currently housed at the offices of the Columbia Orthopedic Group in Columbia, MO. 

Glenn L. McElroy, MD Outstanding Service Award

The Glenn L. McElroy, MD Outstanding Service Award is a prestigious award given to an individual who played an exemplary role in the profession of athletic training. The recipient of this award has provided remarkable service to the profession of athletic training and to the patients they serve. 

MoATA Outstanding Athletic Trainer of the Year

The MoATA Outstanding Athletic Trainer of the Year award is presented to a Missouri athletic trainer whose performance has exceeded the expectations of an athletic trainer.  This award is intended to recognize a single effort or a series of actions over the course of a year that benefited the membership of MoATA or deeply influenced the care we provide. Additional information, previous award winners, and nomination forms can be found on the MoATA website. Nominations will be accepted through April 1, 2019.
