Bio:
Dr. Garcia-Ferrer is the chief ophthalmologist for Mercy Clinic Eye Specialists in St. Louis and is the Division Chief for Ophthalmology at Mercy Hospital, St. Louis. Prior to joining Mercy Clinic in 2024, he served as an Associate Professor and Chief of Refractive Surgery at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine with a joint position as Chief of Eye Care Services at the Sacramento VA Medical Center.
Dr. Garcia-Ferrer received his medical education and residency training at Washington University in St. Louis, and completed fellowship training in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at the University of California, Davis.
Dr. Garcia-Ferrer is currently the team ophthalmologist for the St. Louis Cardinals.
