2018 MoATA State Capitol Days

The Governmental Affairs Committee would like to invite you to participate in one of our 3 Capitol Days in Jefferson City this upcoming legislative session.  These visits give athletic trainers an opportunity to provide valuable information about the profession and our legislative issues to members of the General Assembly. With newly elected legislators in office and the ongoing efforts to update our current practice act, this will be a pivotal time where your involvement could truly make a difference in our profession.The Governmental Affairs Committee have set aside the following dates:

Tuesday, January 30thWednesday, February 21stTuesday, March 20th

 The time commitment for these events at the Capitol are from 8:00 until noon, although individuals that can stay until 2 pm have a greater opportunity to meet personally with legislators.
