Sports Concussions: Facts, Fallacies and New Frontiers
The Brain Injury Association of Missouri (BIA-MO) is hosting its annual Sports Concussions: Facts, Fallacies and New Frontiers Regional Seminars throughout Missouri between January 29, 2018 and February 12, 2018. MoATA is a proud program partner and encourages all members to attend. January 29, 2018 – St. Louis, MissouriFebruary 2, 2018 – Columbia, MissouriFebruary 6, 2018 – Cape Girardeau, MissouriFebruary 8, 2018 – Springfield, MissouriFebruary 12, 2018 – Kansas City, Missouri Coaches, athletic directors, licensed athletic trainers, school nurses, school counselors, and community recreational league administration are encouraged to attend. Sharing new information about concussions with athletic teams and school personnel will help reduce the risk of potential long-term cognitive, physical, perceptual and emotional effects that can occur.
