2021 MoATA Virtual Conference - Live Sessions

The 2021 Missouri Athletic Trainers’ Association Virtual Conference-Live Sessions will be held Thursday October 14th from 6pm-8pm.  The Live Sessions will consist of “Ergonomics As a Tool For Occupational Health Athletic Trainers” presented by Keith Webster MS, ATC; and “The NATA Transitional Employment Workgroup Initiative and Market Research Survey Findings, Plans and Recommendations” by Joseph Beckett EdD, ATC.

Beginning Monday October 25th, there will be additional CE opportunities through pre-recorded sessions.  MoATA members will receive a separate email for registration information for these sessions at a later date.

Educational Objectives

            Upon completion of the program, a participant will be able to:

  • Gain a basic understanding of working in the occupational industrial setting.
  • Learn the basics of utilizing ergonomic skills in the occupational industrial work setting
  • Better understand how to apply their professional skills in the occupational industrial work setting
  • Describe the purpose and mission of the NATA Transitional Employment Workgroup, the process for selection of members, and work completed between January 2020 and May 2021.
  • Interpret the demographic findings and relevant descriptive information obtained from the market research survey
  • Provide resources available to the membership (now vs. in the future)

Target Audience

            This program is intended for athletic trainers.

            $0 for athletic training students (MoATA Member)

            $0Certified Athletic Trainers (MoATA Member)

Registration and Payment Information

Registration will be performed through a CVent registration link that will be emailed to all current MoATA members.

Continuing Education

The Missouri Athletic Trainers’ Association (BOC AP#P318) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers.  This program is eligible for a maximum of 2.0 Category ‘A’ hours/CE’s.  AT’s should claim only those hours actually spent in the education program.
