Missouri Athletic Trainers: Save the Date for MoATA Capitol Day on March 5th!
JEFFERSON CITY, MO — The Missouri Athletic Trainers’ Association (MoATA) invites all athletic trainers, athletic training students, and athletic training program leaders to participate in MoATA Capitol Day on Tuesday, March 5, 2025 from 8 AM to noon. This event will take place in Jefferson City, Missouri, and serves as a unique opportunity to advocate for the profession and demonstrate the critical role athletic trainers play as "Champions in Health Care."
Capitol Day provides attendees the chance to meet face-to-face with Missouri legislators to discuss the essential contributions of athletic trainers in preventing injuries, improving patient outcomes, and promoting health and wellness in our communities. The theme, "Champions in Health Care," highlights the dedication of athletic trainers in safeguarding the health of athletes, workers, and active individuals across Missouri.
